On a contemporary build, a Victorian scroll gate looks wrong. Aluminium's flat sections, horizontal slats and clean geometry match the architecture — and the material does things iron can't.

Do aluminium gates rust?
No. Aluminium does not rust, and the powder-coat finish resists fading and chalking. It is the lowest-maintenance material we fit — an occasional wash is the whole maintenance contract, unlike timber or untreated steel.
Are aluminium gates strong enough for security?

What finishes are available?
Any RAL colour, in matt, satin or textured powder coat. Anthracite grey (RAL 7016) is the most popular on modern Surrey homes; black, cream and bronze are common. Woodgrain-effect foils are available if you want the timber look without the timber upkeep.
Can aluminium gates be automated?
Yes — their low weight makes them easy and reliable to automate, and gentle on the motor, which extends automation life. We fit CAME, BFT, Nice and FAAC systems, force-tested to BS EN 12453.
